Annual High School Counselor Conference 2015

On March 4th EnvisionRecruit hosted the second "Annual High School Counselor Conference" where bilingual and international high school counselors and teachers joined along with representatives from educational institutions worldwide.

Highlights:
  • A total of 25 counselors from 15 schools in Taipei, Taichung, Hsingchu, Nantou, Taoyuan, and Kaohsiung, participated.
  • Panelists that represent programs providing services to students aged from 14 to 18, including pathway programs, culinary schools, design programs, former IVY league adcom, summer school providers, and private counselors shared insights with the high school counselors
  • In addition to traditional academic oriented majors, parents and students are now open for practical and diversified options, like game design, culinary, aviation, and so on. 
  • In terms of destinations, English speaking programs in Asia, such as in Japan, China, and Singapore, are getting popular.
  • Counselors FAQs: Nationality, school size, application requirements, faculty to student ratio, post-graduation job market and so on.
  • 80% of the counselors would like to join again
